Develop Executive Leadership and High-Potential Managers

CMI Concord works with senior executives and other high potential individuals to develop their managerial leadership and communication effectiveness.  Our engagements can be centered on a particular issue or challenge, or they can be more general in nature.


We begin by identifying the gaps between existing skills and outcomes and those that are desired.  We then work with the individual to understand the cause(s) of the discrepancy, identify possible remedies, and develop an actionable plan - with accountability measures - to close that gap.


Most of our coaching work is confidential. The following example illustrates the type of engagements on which we work. We have coached executives at:


  • One of the most successful and progressive public housing authorities in the U.S.  As the organization expanded its base of financial partners, it needed to develop and provide information more efficiently to support a new class of private-sector investors.  This stressed the quasi-governmental agency, and senior executives saw the need for greater coordination and efficiency across and among all departments.  We conducted training on collaboration skills for the entire management team and then entered into individual coaching relationships with 12 of the organization's most senior executives and managers.
